Project purpose
To develop and provide quality resources to actively support the Māori Rainbow community in the Mental Health and Addictions area in Counties Manukau.
Project objectives
- Create a range of resources and support materials that will;
- Increase connectivity between services and individuals
- Provide practical support for the Māori Rainbow community
- Create an environment of understanding and support for Māori Rainbow Community in Mental Health and Addictions support services
- Develop a supportive and culturally relevant space for whānau to explore their sexual identity and sense of self
- Provide practical resources that enhance the opportunities for whānau ora as a model of wellbeing
